Do you take insurance?
Yes, I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Sunflower Health Plan, Ambetter by Sunflower, and United Healthcare Community Plan.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are typically 55-60 minutes long.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I ask that any cancellations be made at least 24 hours prior to your session. If you cancel after the 24 hour window, or do not show up to your appointment there is a $75 fee. I am understanding when it comes to circumstances out of your control. I just ask that you communicate with me and let me know what’s going on.
I’ve never been to therapy before. What can I expect?
Typically the first session begins with discussion about my practices policies and procedures. I invite any questions about policies or the process of therapy. Once that is complete, we move into an open dialogue where I ask questions to better understand your challenges and needs. Toward the end of the session I will summarize back to you what I understand to be the challenge and provide you with my insight about how the issue could best be treated.
